This is a video of me driving around the northern part of Toronto (more specifically, the borough of North York), and also in Markham, a suburb directly adjacent to Toronto from the northeast. The official border between the City of Toronto and its northern suburbs is Steeles Avenue, on which I drive in a major chunk of the video. I note it in the video when I first turn onto Steeles Avenue, specifically where it borders Vaughan in the west (another suburb), and then Markham in the east.
The drive begins just before the end of the evening rush hour, and as a result traffic is quite heavy in the beginning. However, it quickly gets better.
The video also features Pacific Mall, which is the largest Asian indoor mall in North America. Unfortunately we arrived just minutes away from closing time, although enough to make some last-minute purchases :)
The drive itself may seem somewhat random in nature, but that mostly is a result of running some errands, picking up some friends, and doing some random driving while counting on the GPS to come up with a decent place to eat :) Also, many of the camera transitions are continuous in nature, and as a result it may look like I was just parking and then taking off right away, when in fact time has passed between the events.
